The first camera I owned was a used PENTAX SFXn which served me very well for about ten years when I replaced it with a ZX-5N. However, it was after I switched to digital with the *ist DL that my photographic technique improved exponentially. I have since upgraded to the K100D and subsequently K-7. As an enthusiast/amateur, my photography serves primarily to document my children as they grow up. However, I try to take advantage of every opportunity to shoot some landscapes and/or anything else that catches my eye.
