I am a self-taught photographer I worked in fashion and advertising for about fifteen years. I have a Bachelors of Psychology and a Masters of Divinity degree. I got into photography by asking many questions of a professional photographer who photographed the tunnel boring equipment that we built in Seattle. Then I just began shooting and finally started getting jobs. I ran a my studio until I left to pursue further education. I took some time off and now am getting back into photography for the love of it again. This started with the purchase of my first digital camera a K100D and truly loved the photographs I was getting with it. Now I am a whitewater rafting guide and love photographing things concerning that sport and anything else that interests me.

Right now I have a K100D, K20D & a K5 with SMC Pentax 18 to 45mm lens, SMC Pentax 55 to 300 which I bought to replace the SMC 50 to 200 that I destroyed on a Grand Canyon Rafting Trip it was definitely no fault of the lens. Also a 50-135DA*
