I started shooting when I was 12 with my father’s camera, about 40 years ago. With my first earnings I bought my first camera, the Pentax MX, which is still excellent. Few years later I had the great opportunity to buy a second hand LX. I’ll never regret it and I still use it. I spent days and days in the darkroom, printing and processing myself b/w films. I thought I wouldn’t have never upgraded to a digital camera … I have got now the K-7. I studied agriculture and farming, but I never worked in the field. I couldn’t make photography as a job, sometimes life pulls you away from your dreams… and drives you somewhere else. My professional life has been paved with several experiences, mostly linked to a sort of creative impulses (marketing, publishing, editing, mail-order selling) but I never had enough courage to take steps to fully dive into photography. As not professional photographer I try to capture moods and atmospheres, and my favourites shots are portraits, but I also like landscapes and still life.
