I have been interested in photography since grade school but didn't get my first decent camera until I graduated from university. Being a bit of a hardware junkie I traded or sold my first two cameras but when I bought my first Pentax, an ME Super in 1980, I was hooked. As a teacher I could dedicate some of my summer time to my hobby, and occasionally some paying projects. After years of using Pentax film SLRs I went digital in the form of a Pentax Optio 33L and now a Pentax *istDL , *istDS and K10D digital SLRs. Photography, for me, has been a constant source of enjoyment which gives me the opportunity to find a new way to see the world around me, to notice more of the details we take for granted every day. Thanks to Pentax Imaging I am now the proud owner of an FA 50mm f1.4 lens and a whole lot more enthusiasm.
