I was born in England and came to the U.S. with my family when young. I've been a photographer ever since high school when I started off with the legendary Pentax K1000. I've been a Pentax shooter ever since. In 2006
I completed my master's degree in Multimedia Technology at Duquesne University with particular emphasis, unsurprisingly, in digital imaging. I've been freelancing as a photographer and multimedia designer for years but I'm now teaching at Lasell College in Newton, MA, after being at at Youngstown State University (Ohio) for several years. I'm doing much less freelance work now but still giving seminars on nature photography and digital imaging technology, such as the Grandfather Mountain Nature Photography Weekend.
I'm the editor of the PDML Photo Annual, a photo book sold to raise money for charity by members of the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
