I have first been exposed to photography as a lucky child. Although taking photographs have always been a part of my life, photography has become a more serious endeavor for me about five years ago. Now, it is on my mind even when I do not have a camera with me; which, is a rare situation. Photography, is the major channel thorough which I try to understand myself. It is a tool that helps me see beyond my routine as a pathologist and former academician. I am not a fast shooter. I think, calculate, imagine, try, fail and reconsider... I read a lot on and about photography and I like to view images by photographers whose identity is visible in their works.
My former Pentax cameras were K100D, K10D and K20D. Now my DSLRs are K5 and K3. My lens collection includes items from a fisheye to various macro and tele lenses and consists of primes & zooms from lovely Takumars to some very late designs. The lenses I like most at the moment are the DA 40mm Ltd. and the legendary FA 77mm Ltd.
Among my film cameras I have many Pentaxes: An MZ-5n (which, unfortunately sees little use) a 645N which I adore and a Pentax 67!
