Mickey Chenery

I've been a Pentax user since I was 14 and my Dad bought me a K-1000. It enabled me to learn the ropes like no other camera. Now I use the K20D and I still feel that same high each time I make a new "keeper" image. Ansel Adams, John Sexton, Elliott Erwitt and Art Wolfe were my main inspirations growing up (and still are). I shoot landscapes and nature mainly but my favorite subject to photograph has always been my wife Kathryn. We've been together since HS and she has supported my obsession with photography all along. Married over 20 years now, she has put up with every lens purchase and camera upgrade throughout. I'm a very lucky man! Recently, I've started shooting medium format B&W and working in the darkroom again. Together with digital, I feel very inspired to keep the images flowing. I hope to do this gallery justice in the future. Pentax users are a different breed and I'm proud to call myself a Pentaxian!
