My photographic life began with an Agfa Silette I got at my 8th birthday. At some point years later Pentax crossed my way and this also was the starting point for a more serious look into amateur photography and an ongoing addiction to taking and viewing photographs. Over the years different cameras and lenses, most of them Pentax manufactured, came and tended to stay. Being a professional scientist, photography evolved to become an important and necessary part of my life, adding emotion, freedom and meditation to my otherwise very rational universe. Currently my preferred cams are the K10D and my old 6x7. I am member of Pentax Family Switzerland and got a "Member's Work" consideration in Pentax Photo Annual 2006-2007 as well as an "Honorable Mention" at the 35th Pentax Photo Salon Tokyo 2006. My photographic interests are broad and are ranging from macro over nature and portraits to landscape and architecture.
