My first SLR camera was a Praktica Tl1000 using the Pentax M42 mount. That was almost 20 years ago. I quickly moved to the Pentax K1000, which was my main camera until 3 years ago, when I was able to afford my first DSLR, the Pentax *istDs. I now use the Pentax K5 and try to resist the LBA bug... I was born in France but I've been living in Florida for the last 10 years. As far as I can remember, I was always fascinated by photography. My uncle being an amateur photographer himself gave me the bug very young and it's been slowly growing in me since then. This is my big passion and I rarely leave home without my camera. Thanks to my Pentax DSLR, I'm able to enjoy photography to the fullest every day, at least I try... :) I don't really specialize in any type of photography, I like to try different things, but looking back at my shooting record, it seems Portraits and Nature are what I enjoy shooting the most. www.flickr.com/mikerard
