I've always had a fascination with photography but never had the means to pursue it. That is until I found a white Pentax k-x on sale. I couldn't pass up the deal so I bought it on the spot. I was hooked immediately! The camera made it so easy to learn the basics of photography and bridge the gap between the "point and shoot" and dslr camera world. Now i've moved on to my trusty k20d and am loving that camera as well! I'm always trying to learn new things and grow in how I take pictures. I'm hoping to upgrade to a K-5 next! I'm somewhat of an outdoors person so naturally my main interest in photography is nature and landscapes, but I've started branching out recently and am enjoying other types of photography. I love the look and feel of Pentax products and definitely don't see myself switching to another system any time soon.
