I've been into photography ever since I can remember. My dad bought our first digicam, the incredible PENTAX Optio S, back in 2003, and I instantly fell in love with it. With time, I started feeling I needed to overcome the limitations of the small Optio, and decided to go into film photography. I "borrowed" my father's screwmount KMZ Zenit-E, and the rest is history. Some lenses followed, a new body... and here I am today. I have no formal training in photography - everything I know, I've learned by myself. From basics like exposure, aperture, composition, to things such as shutter synch. The voyage of discovery has offered me more rewards than any book I could have read. As a photographer, I specialize in "the everyday". The most mundane things can be the most interesting sometimes - telephones, sidewalks, signs, facial expressions... you might be surprised what you can find, if you just take the time to look around. I also enjoy doing landscape and macro photography, using my trusty tripod and extension rings.
