I am a keen amateur photographer who became interested in the field after finding an SLR camera in the back seat of my taxicab. Driving a cab was a way to pay for my university education. The camera I found was a Pentax Spotmatic F with a 50mm F1:1.4 lens, certainly state of the art in 1974. Recording images on film sufficed until last year when I entered the digital age with a K 10D. Nature and landscapes would be my main interests. As photographers know, the hobby is both art and science. Balancing both of these components will continue to intrigue and challenge me.
