As far as I remember, I got my first camera at age of six or seven. My first SLR was a fully mechanical unit with no batteries at all. It weighted a ton. My first digicam was Pentax Optio 450. Then I owned quite a few P&S cameras, hoping to fulfill my dream to get a great quality in a small package. When I realized that there is no miracle, I bought my first DSLR - the Pentax K-x. Regardless of my Ph.D. in Material Science, I try to keep learning new things, exploring with great pleasure the art of photography. I like to reveal uncommon sides of ordinary objects.
