I'm fairly new to the world of digital SLRs. Although I used to use film SLRs years ago, I had been getting by with my digital point and shoot until I got my first DSLR in April 2010, a Pentax Kx with 2 lens kit. Since then, my interest in photography has sharpened and I love the challenge of trying to find unique images. I am lucky to live fairly close to a lot of spectacular outdoor settings in California, and I try to go on road trips to remote locations frequently for outdoor/landscape shooting.
