Rick Luiten

I got started in photography many years ago with a Brownie Baby when I was about nine. Got my first 35mm when I was in the Marines in the early seventies. Became a pro and worked at fashion and advertising photography for about fifteen years until I got burned out and quit. A few years ago I bought a K100D, 50-200, 16-45 to take on a rafting trip in the Grand Canyon. The photos I got with that camera refuled my love of photography. I have picked up a couple more cameras and lenses, I gave the K100D to my daughter who is beginning her love affair with photography. I am now planning on going back into photography as a pro, well part time. My education is in Psychology, Philosophy and Theology. More than anything here I am absolutely humbled to have my work displayed among such talented photographers. Every time I look through one of the other photographers work I am truly amazed at the awesome talent and passion seen in the Pentax Photo Gallery. I thank Pentax for making this site possible it is truly inspirational.
