I started in photography in the mid 70s using an old Ansco range finder of my mothers. Around 1984 At 19, I received a Pentax P3 as a present and I have been on Pentax ever since. I still use that original 50mm. My real photographic side started in 1988 during my first deployment overseas onboard the USS Constellation I realized then that every moment in Naval Aviation was unique. This led to my first magazine cover shot done with a P3n. I bought an SF1 in Hong Kong and expanded my journey with Pentax gear. Most of my published work has been while flying as a Navy officer. As I neared retirement my image work has expanded as I have traveled more in business and became active in youth sports. Youth sports has given me a way to give to my community by becoming the team photographer and donating my time photographically for organizations and fundraisers. A Pentax is always packed with me wherever I go. Please visit my personal website: www.chrisbuhlmann.com
