Michael Ward

I am an academic, a faculty member in the Chemistry department at a UK university. I have been interested in photography since I had a Box Brownie at the age of seven and processed my B&W film in the bathroom. I used mostly Pentax SLRs (K1000, ME super, Super A) for many years and then after a long layoff from photography started again with a K100D in 2007, principally to take pictures of my growing family. I used a K7 for a couple of years and am now trying a K-01. I'll take pictures of anything that catches my eye but particularly like cathedrals and old churches, and I like both primes and zooms for different reasons.
