Demosthenes Mateo Jr

Demo (as his friends call him) started doing photography in mid 2009 as a substitute to playing in a heavy metal band when his new day job required him to travel around Australia every week. Landscape and travel photography became his main focus although he practically shoots everything. He carries his camera with him all the time, even during office lunch, and is always the one missing in group photos. Demo is always ready to share whatever little he knows about photography. He believes that teaching others is a worthy cause especially that he also learned his craft for free. He runs free workshops for his friends hoping that some of them will soon join his crazy 3AM dawn adventures. He also maintains a blog aimed at those who are just starting in photography.
