From May-Oct.2012 ´featured artist´ on the starting page ... Hi, I´m ´Pentaxian´ since 2007 when I bought my first DSLR (*ist DL2) - in the following years I finished my 'project' -PENTAX goes scuba - Now the camera (*ist DL2) is ready to accompany my dives, placed safely in a self-adapted old analogue underwater-housing (SUBAL). Update 6/2013: This project is finished now - due to the lack of underwater equipment by PENTAX (maybe it depends on the market shares in Germany or worldwide) I made my decision for an ´downgrade´ in underwater photography (I will take a compact camera of a competitor) ... no more underwater pics here ;-( Travelling is another core theme and I try to capture my impressions while visiting other countries (the whole 'work' and travelogs can be found on my website). I principally try to catch the beauty of the moment and I´m taking pics of everything that´s worth to be kept for the future (imho) This may be a portrait photo in a studio from time to time, too. I recently added a brandnew K-5 to my camera-bag for the world above the surface ;-) Even if I´ve never planned to take the K-5 under water it is tempting to test its wonderful possibilities in a professional housing. But doing this might remain a dream for me. (See above - the idea of PENTAX underwater is ´history´)
