Aldrin was a casual point and shoot photographer. When his friend bought a DSLR camera in 2008 he was amazed how good the photos were. He decided to get a dslr camera also but being on a tight budget, he thoroughly researched (mostly on the internet) which system would give him the best value for money. Through a Philippine forum he came to learn about the Pentax system. He is now happily shooting with the k20d. His favorite subjects are people especially his family, flora and fauna and landscapes. His job as a Process Controller in an Oil and Gas company gives him plenty of time to shoot beautiful places in Singapore where he is currently based. He visits Philippines, his home country once and a while to visit family and friends and of course to shoot. He still has a long way to go to become a good photographer but he's learning and having fun.
