40 years ago while in New Zealand, I looked through the view finder of a Spotmatic equipped with a Takumar zoom lens and was hooked. I bought my first Pentax (SV, like the spotmatic but with clip on light meter) in 1969 duty free in Fiji. From 1969 on I have owned many Pentax SLR's, including the ist-D (which I had converted to a infrared only), K-20D, K-10D and now (and my favorite) the K7D. Over the last four decades, I shot many thousands of color, B&W, slide and digital images. Anything with interesting contrast, design, color, story, etc. has been and is fair game. I like to travel, dive, sail and wander, so over the years Pentax has captured the interesting people, places and things.
