I started photography with a Kodak Brownie in the 1950's. I went to the USAF Photography School in 1961. I bought my first Pentax (an SV) in 1965. I did the NYI thing in 1969. I've been an enthusiatic amateur since retiring in 2005. I spend a lot of time in Yellowstone shooting wildlife and landscapes.
