Trained as a physician, my interest in photography dates back to junior high. I saved for a year to buy a hopelessly obsolete used SLR of East German provenance when I was in high school. In my late twenties I got disenchanted with the limitations of color processing film, and gave up on photography until such time as digital cameras seemed good enough, about 5 years ago. Now I'm just trying to learn as much as I can in as little a time possible...
