My fanaticism and passion for photography started from two major events. The first event was a teacher friend of mine allowing me to borrow her digital SLR camera for a period of time. Prior to receiving the DSLR, I had attempted to take aquarium pictures with a point and shoot camera and could not get the images I was looking for. I took one quick snapshot of my aquarium with my friend's DSLR and I was instantly sold on getting one. The second event that made me fall in love with photography was my trip to Sydney, Australia and Singapore. For the first time, I had a chance to really put my Pentax K100D and kit lens to the test and it passed with flying colors. On top of that, the rewarding feeling of obtaining such awesome images made me realize how beautiful an art photography is. Now, I take pictures of everything and anything, with the goal of making every moment become a piece of photographic art. There's nothing quite like the click of a shutter and the feeling of knowing that "you got the shot".
