A camera has never been too far from my reach and it all began when my father gave me a Pentax 35mm film camera as a child. Having grown up in California, I fell in love with the Cascade Range while in college. Now living in Everett, Washington, I spend much of my time photographing and exploring the mountains of Washington State. My style of photography emphasizes the more intimate scenes in nature over vast landscapes, and tends to favor lesser known locations rather than more famous icons. Photography drives my love of nature and often drives me out in foul weather to capture scenes most would avoid.
